1. Approval of the minutes of the Transportation Advisory Board meeting held on April 21, 2009. (Board requested minutes be revised to include additional detail regarding their discussions on the West Mesa Park and Ride and Light Rail topics, but confirmed that the minutes accurately reflected the Board’s recommendations)

2. Items from citizens present. (None)

3. Discuss and take action on staff recommendation to approve the revised alignment for Ray Road from Power Road to Ellsworth Road. (**Approved - Board voted 9-0)

4. Hear a presentation and discuss Regional ADA Certification In Person Assessments Public Outreach Update. (Report reviewed by Board)

5. Hear a presentation and discuss the quarterly update on the Mesa Bicycle Plan. (Report reviewed by Board)

6. Discuss and take action on staff recommendation to prohibit eastbound left turns from the driveway on the west side of 48^th Street with centerline approximately 55 feet south of Main Street. (**Approved – Board voted 9-0)

**The Transportation Advisory Board is an advisory board with final approval residing with City Council for this action.

Informational Update on Recent Council Action:

None

Informational Update on Recent Parking Prohibitions:

Approved on April 20, 2009 – insufficient roadway width to accommodate travel lanes and on street parking.

• On the east side of 48^th Street from Main Street to a point 195 feet south of Main Street (rescind) (east of Greenfield Road and south of Main Street, Council District 5).

• On the east side of 48^th Street from Main Street to a point 313 feet south of Main Street (new) (east of Greenfield Road and south of Main Street, Council District 5).
