Chairperson Mizner declared a quorum present and the meeting was called to order at 7:30 a.m.

1. Review items on the agenda for the October 21, 2009 regular Planning & Zoning hearing.

The items on the October 21, 2009, agenda were discussed. No formal action was taken.

2. Planning Director’s Updates:

Planning Director, John Wesley explained Council direction to staff regarding eliminating the Downtown Development Committee and transferring their responsibilities to the Planning and Zoning Board. He also explained the revisions to the Design Review Board.

Mr. Wesley also informed the Board the City had received an award from the Arizona Planning Association for Best 21 Century Development Plan for the Williams Gateway Area Plan.

3. Minutes – submit any corrections, additions, deletions.

None.

The meeting adjourned at 8:16 a.m.
