A meeting of the Public Safety Local Police Pension Board of Mesa, Arizona, was held in Conference Room 170E, 20 E. Main, 1ST Floor, on September 17, 2009 at 11:02 a.m.

Chairman Whalen excused Boardmembers Brady and Kazmaier from the meeting.
POLICE PENSION BOARD
1. Discuss and consider the DROP application of Police Officer Juan Padilla.
It was moved by Boardmember Smith, seconded by Boardmember Pace that the DROP application of Police Officer Juan Padilla be approved.
Chairman Whalen declared the motion carried unanimously by those present.
2. Discuss and consider the election of Police Helicopter Pilot Harold Salem to terminate his participation in the DROP program and apply for Normal Retirement.
It was moved by Boardmember Smith, seconded by Boardmember Pace, that the election of Police Helicopter Pilot Harold Salem to terminate participation in the DROP Program and apply for Normal Retirement be approved.
Chairman Whalen declared the motion carried unanimously by those present.
3. Adjournment.
Without objection, the meeting of the Local Police Pension Board adjourned at 11:03 a.m.
