1. Convene a Joint Meeting of the Mesa City Council and the Planning and Zoning Board.

2. Hear a presentation, discuss and provide direction on the Mesa Gateway Strategic Development Plan.

3. Adjourn the Joint Meeting and Reconvene the Study Session.

4. Hear reports on meetings and/or conferences attended.

5. Scheduling of meetings and general information.

6. Items from citizens present. (Maximum of three speakers for three minutes per speaker)

7. Convene an executive session.

a. Discussion or consultation for legal advice with the City Attorney.

(A.R.S. §38-431.03A (3)) Discussion or consultation with the City Attorney in order to consider the City’s position and instruct the City Attorney regarding the City’s position regarding all contracts involving the development of the Mesa Proving Grounds that are the subject of negotiations, in pending or contemplated litigation or in settlement discussions conducted in order to avoid or resolve litigation. (A.R.S. §38-431.03A(4))

1. Mesa Proving Grounds, approximately 3,200 acres of the former General Motors Proving Grounds facility, located generally at the southeast corner of Elliot and Ellsworth Roads.
