1. Review items on the agenda for the August 24, 2009 regular Council meeting.

2. Acknowledge receipt of minutes of various boards and committees.

a. Transportation Advisory Board meetings held on April 21, 2009 and May 19, 2009

b. Parks and Recreation Board meeting held on May 13, 2009

c. Economic Development Advisory Board meeting held on June 2, 2009

d. Public Safety Committee meeting held on June 30, 2009

3. Hear reports on meetings and/or conferences attended.

4. Scheduling of meetings and general information.

5. Items from citizens present. (Maximum of three speakers for three minutes per speaker).

6. Convene an executive session.

a. Discussion or consultation with the City Attorney in order to consider the City’s position and instruct the City Attorney regarding the City’s position regarding contracts that are the subject of negotiations, in pending or contemplated litigation or in settlement discussions conducted in order to avoid or resolve litigation. (A.R.S. §38-431.03A(4))
