1. Review items on the agenda for the April 6, 2009 regular Council meeting.

2. Hear a presentation, discuss and provide direction on the COPS Grants Program.

3. Hear a presentation, discuss and provide direction on budget issues, including, but not limited to:

a. Transit & Dial-a-Ride

b. Water Resources

c. Energy Resources

4. Hear a presentation, discuss and provide direction on Bond Sales and a Secondary Property Tax Implementation.

5. Acknowledge receipt of minutes of various boards and committees.

a. Parks & Recreation Board meeting held January 14, 2009

6. Hear reports on meetings and/or conferences attended.

7. Scheduling of meetings and general information.

8. Items from citizens present. (Maximum of three speakers for three minutes per speaker)

9. Convene an Executive Session.

a. Discussion or consultation for legal advice with the City Attorney.

(A.R.S. §38-431.03A (3)) Discussion or consultation with the City Attorney in order to consider the City’s position and instruct the City Attorney regarding the City’s position regarding contracts that are the subject of negotiations, in pending or contemplated litigation or in settlement discussions conducted in order to avoid or resolve litigation. (A.R.S. §38-431.03A(4))

b. Discussion or consideration of employment, assignment, appointment, promotion, demotion, salaries, discipline, dismissal, or resignation of a public officer, appointee or employee of the City. (A.R.S. 38-431.03A (1))
