HOUSING ADVISORY BOARD (HAB)

The Housing Advisory Board, established in February 2006 as a citizen board, is composed of nine (9) members who are residents of the City, and who volunteer their services. The Mayor, with the approval of the City Council, appoints the members of the Board.

The purpose and duties of the Housing Advisory Board is to advise the Mayor and City Council on housing priorities and planning. The members will address housing issues across the community including, but not limited to, the preservation and improvement of the housing stock as well as new development, from custom homes to workforce housing. In addition, the board will review and make recommendations to the Mayor and City Council regarding the Housing Master Plan, adopted in July 2004.
